At Black Tar Brewing Co., everything begins with great beer. Born in Llangwm, Pembrokeshire and shaped by its independent spirit, we honour the craft of local brewing by leading with the beer first — our Siândy range is brewed in collaboration with Welsh breweries, then balanced with our own sustainably made sugar-free, fresh-squeezed lemonade.

Rooted in tradition but brewed for modern tastes, each can celebrates the character of its base beer — its place, its people, and its story — reimagined with boldness and refreshment!

We’re here to create better ways to enjoy beer — lighter, brighter, and rooted in place. From seed to sip, we keep things local, sustainable, low in ABV and proudly Represent Pembrokeshire.

Our history...

 

Black Tar Brewing Co. began as an idea between friends in Pembrokeshire who shared a passion for great beer, community spirit, and doing things differently. Inspired by the shandies of old — but driven by a desire to reimagine them for today — we set out to create a drink that celebrates local brewing while offering something refreshingly new.

We launched Siândy with a simple principle: beer first, always. Each batch starts with high-quality Welsh craft beer, blended carefully with our own sustainably produced lemonade. What began as a small-scale collaboration has grown into a bold new chapter for low-ABV drinks, with deep roots in local flavour, environmental care, and community connection.

Our journey continues with Seed to Sip, where we work with local growers to produce ingredients for future flavour — bringing education, sustainability, and good taste together in every can.
